The only thing that can make monday better...Chocolate Cookies!

A number of years ago I found a recipe for Malted Milk Ball Cookies. They were awesome. They would be devoured before they were even off of the pan. But then when I moved out of my parents house I lost the recipe. So I spent quite sometime searching for a substitute recipe. These cookies beat the other ones by far.
They have a great Chocolate flavor that can be made more bitter or sweet depending on your preference. I use half Semi-sweet chocolate and half Milk chocolate in the recipe so that they are not as bitter. You can also use dark chocolate.
I thought that I would share them with you.  I hope you like them.

Ingredients:
4 Semi-sweet Baking Squares ( or if you want less sweet cookies use 8 squares and omit the first cup of Milk Chocolate)
1 Cup Milk Chocolate Chips or 4 Milk Chocolate Baking Squares
1/4 Cup Butter or Margarine
3/4 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Flour
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
1 Cup Chocolate Chips (Milk, White, or Dark Chocolate or Chopped Nuts, Malted Milk Balls, Skor Bites, or any other chocolate bar chunks/bites that you enjoy)  (Mini Rolos are great)

Microwave Baking Chocolate and 1 Cup Chocolate Chips (or squares) for 1 minute then stir until melted and smooth. You may need to microwave again for another 30 sec to melt it farther.
Stir in butter, flour, eggs, brown sugar, and baking powder, Mix well.
Add remaining Chocolate Chips, nuts, or chocolate treats.
Drop by heaping spoonful onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in preheated 350' oven for 12-13 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for a couple minutes before transferring to wire rack.
Store in airtight container.

I like to use a Medium Scoop from Pampered Chef for my cookies because I like them all to be almost the same size, and it makes scooping so much easier.
